Who We Are
Kids for kindness is a nonprofit organization run by kids. We interact with each other and the community in order to bring joy, support and happiness--in the best way that we as kids can--to other people who may be down on their luck or having a hard time.

Our mission is to spread joy to our communities through music, story telling, and other talents. We strive to provide our volunteers valuable opportunities for interacting with the community in a positive way, to develop character, self-confidence, and leadership skills. As a nonprofit, Kids for Kindness also raises money for charity through its various fundraising events and concerts
What We Do
Kids for Kindness serves as an organizational structure that creates opportunities for kids to interact with the world around us. In other words, the nonprofit exist BOTH to help others, and to give us experience as forces of positive change within our communities.

Background
The journey towards our organization started years ago with two brothers Alex and Bryan, and an upright piano they got for Christmas. Along the way was lots of practice, piano lessons, and more practice. Then came some notvery-good piano recitals, piano competitions, and then somewhat better piano recitals. Eventually we found ourselves playing in hospitals for patients and health care workers, and loved it. That led to performances in nursing homes and then to Kids for Kindness!
